Jazz Singer, Songwriter, Musician Sue McCreeth and her accomplished band comprising of Mario Caribe (double bass and music director), Paul Harrison (piano) and Stu Brown (drums) took to the stage at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall last week for their new show rehearsal. The entire session was the focus of Ken Thomson photographer www.kenthomsonphoto.com and Allister Gourley videographer’s www.geewhizdigitalmedia.co.uk attention as they ran the lens over events for Sue’s new music video and media package.
It was a privilege to have a front row seat for what was a special occasion, after all its not every day that artists get to rehearse in such an iconic venue and on a stage on which so many greats have performed over the years.
I would like to pay tribute to the staff at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, especially Stage Manager Drew and Fiona in charge of lighting for making everyone so welcome and for their superb technical support.
Video footage and photographs from this session will be released in due course together with a beautifully crafted new album recently mastered at the World famous Abbey Road Studio’s by mastering engineer Alex Wharton ‘Look Back and Love’.
Meanwhile you can find more about Sue McCreeth at www.suemccreeth.com and her music worldwide in all the usual digital outlets including iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon.
Watch this space ‘Look Back and Love’ is an album that any discerning Jazz lover will want to add to their collection.
